Best EPL Week 5 Singles

Bet #1: Liverpool vs. Bournemouth: Liverpool -1.5 (-134)

Let’s get down to business with the first EPL Week 5 bet I have in store for you – Liverpool vs. Bournemouth. Last time out we went with Liverpool but they ended up disappointing us. Then they went on to dismantle AC Milan just two days ago. What gives?

Well, those two matches are the perfect examples of when everything goes right and when everything goes wrong. I am satisfied with how Slot’s Liverpool plays on and off the ball. I am confident in their ability to make that defeat against Nottingham Forest a one-off thing.

That’s not to say Bournemouth will be a walk in the park. That nail-biting win against Everton away from home showed us what a menace Sinisterra can be. A quick reminder; first he assisted in 92nd then scored in 96th. Unfortunately for them, I expect this one to be all Liverpool!

  • Prediction: Liverpool -1.5 -134

Bet #2: Leicester vs. Everton: Leicester (+155)

Leicester has to get back to its winning ways. In the first four Premier League fixtures, Leicester scored 5 goals and conceded 7. Unfortunately, they still don’t have a single win to their name. 2 draws and 2 losses – that’s the current tally of Steve Cooper’s Leicester.

Luckily for the Foxes, the Toffees are even worse. 4 matches in, they still haven’t got a single point in the books. Four straight losses with a goal difference 4:13 – talk about a rough start. To make matters worse, I expect Leicester to stomp their authority and clinch all three points from this one.

  • Prediction: Leicester City +155

Bet#3: Crystal Palace vs. Man Utd: Total Goals Under 2.5 (+136)

What about this one? Well, I for one expect Crystal Palace will be able to contain Manchester United’s attacking efforts. Even though their wings are getting increasingly more dangerous, if they start off slowly I expect we won’t see much of anything in this one.

The same can be said for Crystal Palace too. Yes, they scored 4 in 4, but I doubt we’ll see them effectively exploit United’s defensive issues. For that reason, I’m quite confident in this one being a dull and uneventful night at the Selhurst Park.

  • Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals +136

Bet#4: Tottenham vs. Brentford: Tottenham -1.5 (+138)

Last but not least – Brentford vs. Tottenham. As you can see, I’ve gone with Tottenham -1.5. Yes, I know Brentford almost caused an upset against City last weekend, but I’m confident in Spurs’ ability to get back on their feet.

Even though Thomas Frank’s Brentford loves to press high up the pitch and are quite well-versed in counter attacking, they might be forced to leave too much space on the flanks.

Plus, even though the current EPL doesn’t suggest so, Tottenham has been very active in the attacking third. They scored 6 goals and conceded 4, which is a far better tally than Aston Villa’s and they’re sitting on 9 points at the moment.

Tottenham’s luck is bound to change, sooner rather than later. We’ve seen how they can absolutely dismantle the opposition, and I for one wouldn’t want to be in Brentford’s fans’ skins ahead of this one.

  • Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 +138

Best EPL Week 5 Parlay Bets

Betting on singles is what most punters prefer these days. However, if you’re eyeing bigger payouts and riskier gameplay, then you’re going to love parlays. As mentioned earlier, EPL Week 5 is packed with exciting clashes, so picking a sweet parlay won’t be an issue. Here’s what I have in store for you:

Parlay #1: Liverpool -1.5 and Leicester to Win

  • Liverpool -1.5 (-134)
  • Leicester to win (+155)
  • Parlay Odds: +345

Here’s the less risky of the two EPL Week 5 parlays. In line #1 we have Liverpool to beat Burnemouth with -1.5 disadvantage. Despite losing to Nottingham Forest last weekend, Slot’s men dismantled AC Milan in the Champions League and must already be eyeing all three points against Bournemouth.

Leicester shouldn’t be too problematic either. As explained earlier, Vardy and the co need to get themselves together and start winning games. 4 matches, 2 losses and 2 draws – not the best start for the Foxes. They simply have to dominate against still point-less Everton.

Parlay #2: Crystal Palace vs. Man Utd U2.5 and Tottenham -1.5

  • Crystal Palace vs. Man Utd Total Goals Under 2.5 (+136)
  • Tottenham Spread -1.5 (+138)
  • Parlay Odds: +462

The second parlay features the remaining two bets combined. We’re betting on a boring and uneventful clash between Palace and United and Tottenham’s inevitable return to form.

Both bets are quite reasonable and shouldn’t be too problematic. Considering that, this parlay makes quite a bit of sense. To put things into perspective – for a $100 bet, Ph365 currently offers $462 profit. What are your thoughts on this one? Is it worth a shot?
